The Golden Triangle is a tourist circuit which connects the national capital, Delhi, with must-see places like the Red fort, India Gate, Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, Akshardham Temple etc.
The trip starts from Delhi moving south to the site of one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort lying in the bank of Yamuna River built with Red Stone, Fatehpur Sikri, the political capital of Mughal Empire, built by Emperor Akbar, then west, to the desert landscapes of Rajasthan, Jaipur the pink city of India with visits to Hawa Mahal, Ajmer Fort, City Place, Jantar Mantar.

Itinerary
Meet on arrival at Delhi Airport and transfer to hotel. Relax overnight.
Morning breakfast, proceed for full day local sightseeing of Old & New Delhi. Old Delhi - An ancient walled city. Visit Red Fort (visit only if security permits), the most opulent fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire, Raj Ghat- the memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid-the largest mosque in India and Chandini Chowk- the bustling and colourful market of the old city. New Delhi-This city was designed and built by the British in the 1920's - a city of wide boulevards impressive Government buildings, green parks and gardens. Visit Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar, India Gate and Parliament House. Return to hotel and rest overnight.
Morning breakfast, checkout and drive to Agra. On arrival check into hotel. Later proceed to visit Taj Mahal - Built by Shah Jahan, Taj is a white marble memorial built in memory of his beautiful wife Mumtaz. It took 22 years for the monument to be completed.. It was designed and planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa, Agra Fort - Built by the famed Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort is predominantly of red sandstone. Ensconced within is the picture perfect Pearl Mosque, which is a major tourist attraction. Return to the hotel & rest overnight. (Taj Mahal remains closed on every Friday)
Morning breakfast, checkout and drive to Jaipur, en route visit Fatehpur Sikri - The deserted, red Sandstone City, Emperor Akbar built that as his capital and palace in the late 16th century is an exhilarating experience. It is a veritable Fairy-tale city and its "ruins" are in pristine condition. On arrival at Jaipur check into hotel & relax overnight.
Morning after breakfast proceed to the dramatic hilltop fortress at Amber – ascend the imposing fort on a painted elephant. Later visit Hawa Mahal - the ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. It is a five-storeyed structure of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trellis work and elaborate balconies, Jantar Mantar Observatory - this is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country, Jaigarh Fort – which was mainly utilized as the defence system against the invaders. Return to the hotel & rest overnight.
Morning after breakfast free for shopping and later drive to Delhi. On arrival check into hotel & relax overnight.
According to flight timings transfer to the Airport to board the flight. Tour Ends.
