Bodhgaya Buddhist Pilgrimage Tour, covering the sacred destinations of Bodhgaya, Rajgir, and Nalanda. The journey begins with your arrival at Gaya Airport and a visit to the renowned Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment beneath the sacred Bodhi Tree.

The tour continues with visits to the Dungeshwari Caves, where Buddha practiced meditation, the Niranjana (Phalgu) River, and Sujata Village, where Sujata offered food to Siddhartha before his enlightenment. You will also explore the impressive 80-Foot Great Buddha Statue, one of Bodhgaya’s most famous landmarks.

An excursion to Rajgir includes visits to Gridhkuta (Vulture Peak)Venuvana Monastery, and Bimbisara Jail, all closely associated with the life of Lord Buddha. The journey then proceeds to Nalanda, the site of the world-famous ancient Buddhist university that attracted scholars from across Asia.

The tour concludes with a comfortable transfer to Gaya Airport for your onward journey. Combining spirituality, history, culture, and Buddhist heritage, this pilgrimage offers a memorable experience for devotees, history lovers, and travelers seeking peace and enlightenment.

Trip Itinerary - 4N/5D

Arrive at Gaya Airport, Welcome to India! You will be meet at the airport, upon arrival transfer to hotel. After lunch visit, Mahabodhi Temple- This beautiful temple built by Ashoka the Great in 3rd Century BC.

Bodhi tree: This sacred tree is about 300 years old. Under this tree Shakyamuni becomes Lord Buddha. One can sit under the tree and can do the meditation. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast visit to Dongeswswari Caves. Lunch at hotel. After lunch visit to Niranjana River-Which the Buddha bathed after attaining enlightenment. Sujata House: 2KM west of Bodhgaya, near the Phalgu River is a temple dedicated to an Uruvela tribeswoman who offered food the starving Siddhartha.The 80th Feet Buddha Statue. The unveiling and consecration of the Great Buddha Statue took place on November 18, 1989. The consecration ceremony was graced with the presence of his holiness the XIVth Dalai Lama, who blessed the 25-meter statue, the first great Buddha ever built in the history of India. The Statue is now symbol of the holy place Bodhgaya, next to Mahabodhi Temple which is a World Heritage site, and enjoys constant visits of pilgrims from all over the world. Among local people, it is nicknamed “the 80-foot (25-meter) Buddha Statue.Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast proceed to Varanasi. Upon arrival check –in to hotel. After lunch visit to

Sarnath: The principle center of Buddhism. It was here around 530 B.C that Buddha preached his 1st sermon after gaining enlightenment. The city is famous for its Buddhist pilgrimage and the underlying stories of Lord Buddha.

Dhamekha Stupa is the most remarkable and massive structure at Sarnath.  Built partly in stone and partly in brick, the Dhamekha stupa is 28 meter in diameter at the base and 43.6 meter in height. The stone facing the lower part is decorated with delicate floral carving of gupta period. Tour continues to visit Deer park & Sarnath Museum (every Friday is closed) Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel.

Early morning enjoy Boat ride on the Holy River Ganges with picturesque view of sunrise. Back to hotel for breakfast, after breakfast drive Bodhgaya, on arrival transfer to hotel for lunch. Afternoon visit International Monastery.  Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast go for temple.  Lunch serve at hotel. After Lunch transfer to airport to take flight for onward destination.
