The Shani Shignapur Temple, located in Ahmednagar district, is another captivating facet of India’s rich spiritual
heritage. Known for the magical and powerful Lord Shani, it is believed that the deity resides in a black stone to this
day. Symbolizing the planet Saturn, Lord Shani is regarded as Swayambhu, meaning he manifested in the form of the
stone. The temple itself is devoid of grand architectural design, yet it draws countless devotees annually, enchanted
by the spiritual aura of the black stone.
